About The Role

We're always looking to connect with Assistant Accountants who are interested in joining our Head Office finance team here at Morrisons. From our Yorkshire HQ, our team of 220 finance colleagues form the backbone of our retail, manufacturing and logistics operations.

With all the training and support provided, we are looking for someone who wants to progress and build their career to become an integral part of a core area of finance.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing and communicating financial information to stakeholders
  • Assisting with daily and weekly financial reporting
  • Providing operational variance analysis
  • Producing product costings and transfer prices
  • Maintaining an awareness of risk management issues across your area of the business
  • Business partnering with finance and non finance stakeholders across Morrisons

About You

For this role, we're looking for someone who:
  • Is a part qualified Accountant studying through CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
  • Has some experience within an accounting or finance role
  • Displays excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines
